Seminar Description:
While the percentage of Americans choosing to die at home has been on the rise for several years, most U.S. deaths still occur in hospital settings or other healthcare facilities. Supporting terminal patients and their families/caregivers can be complex and difficult, often presenting a range of unique ethical challenges and dilemmas for healthcare providers. This training will provide information about some of the unique clinical aspects and challenges related to end-of-life care and decision-making.
